Darlington Concerts Inc. is pleased to present the 2012 Darlington Chamber Music Series.
The Darlington Chamber Music Series continues to be one of Western Australia's premier fine music events. In 2012 we are presenting four varied and exciting concerts featuring acclaimed Western Australian artists.
This year's programme showcases some of the favourites of the chamber music repertoire with works by Beethoven, Schubert and Ravel. We are thrilled to invite sensational violinist Shaun Lee-Chen to perform this year.In 2007 he was the ABC Young Performer of the Year and has subsequently performed with orchestras around Australia. Shaun's Very Violin concert, in collaboration with pianist, Jonathan Bradbury, is sure to be captivating.
We also welcome 'Champagne and Song' to the 2012 series. This concert will delight audiences with favourites from operetta and musical theatre. Well-known Western Australian performers Penelope Reynolds, Robert Hofmann and Tommaso Pollio will bring some sparkle to the Darlington Hall!
These special concerts are performed in the historic Darlington Hall in the Perth hills and patrons are treated to a sumptuous complimentary afternoon tea following the concert.
